As Senior Director, New Business, develop and build relationships in the community to address the health and human service needs of the community through United Way Miami.   • Develop and implement a comprehensive employee giving new business development strategy aligned with UWM's mission and goals.
  • Continue building and leading the New Business Initiative, including identifying prospects, engaging them in the work of United Way, and securing appropriate revenues through cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work alongside VP, Development, and collaborate with senior leadership to integrate and grow New Business opportunities with the overall organization strategy.
  • Identify and cultivate new relationships with potential partners, donors, and stakeholders to create new opportunities through major gifts, sponsorships, grants, and initiative fundraising.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to enhance and expand engagement and funding.
  • Develop and oversee proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential funders and partners.
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in the non-profit sector and business development.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making.RequirementsEducation Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Non-Profit Management, Public Relations, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.Experience Requirements: Five years' experience in business development, partnership management, account management, fundraising, volunteer management, or related roles.Technology Requirements: Intermediate Word. Beginner Internet Explorer, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Andar.Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Public speaking, understanding of people, ability to adapt to changing situations, ability to understand and analyze industry trends, sales ability, computer skills, basic math skills, and negotiation skills.
